Gender Pay Gap Reporting
Under the Gender Pay Gap Information Act 2021, organisations in Ireland with must publish an annual report setting out their gender pay gap.
What is the Gender Pay Gap?
The gender pay gap is the difference in average hourly pay between men and women across an organisation. It is typically shown in two ways:
- Mean pay gap: the average of all hourly pay values.
- Median pay gap: the midpoint value when all hourly pay figures are lined up from lowest to highest.
